Don't Deserve
|
|
I deserve to be punished for the things I've done
Instead God's love sent His only Son
To hang upon a tree
And be bruised for my inquity
I don't deserve Christ mercy and grace
I don't deserve to one day see the face
Of the Man who called me His by name
The One condemned to die for my sin and shame
I want the whole world to know
Christ blood washes sins white as snow
His blood that flowed from calvary
To set the prisoners of sin free
We deserve eternal hell
In a place where nobody can hear you yell
But instead Christ love took it all away
Our debt that was far too great for us to pay
