Come As You Are
|
|
Come as you are, don't worry how to dress
For your clothes Christ could really care less
Come as you are, full of sin and shame
Lay it at the altar, give Jesus your pain
Who are we to say who is worthy
When our own hearts are just as dirty
Who are we to think we can please Him
Then why did He die for our sin
Come as you are, don't worry about your past
It is time to be set free at last
Come as you are, don't worry what man may say
Christ accepts the ones the world leads astray
Don't worry about trying to fit in
In here we are all freed from sin
Don't worry about being up to par
Christ accepts you, come as you are
Come as you are, in off the street
Don't let Satan be your defeat
Come as you are, Christ accepts us all
Even the ones who stumble and fall
