His Word

|
They thought they had won
They thought they had defeated the Son
They thought He was dead
But that is not what His Word said
Let the voices of the redeemed
Lift up and scream
I AM FREE
Because Jesus lives in me
Holy is the Lamb that was slain
Holy is He who takes away sin and pain
Worthy is He to be praised
And worshipped all my days
As He hung there He prayed for their sin
The men who convicted Him
The crown and nails He wore with love
So we can spend eternity with Him above
